Yoursportpools updates

April 11th, 2007

We have made some massive updates at one of our sites, yoursportpools.com. The free hockey pool management system has been updated and are now ready for playoff pools as the Stanley cup starts tonight.

We have also added five leagues to our live score feeds. We can now offer live score feeds from the following football (soccer) leagues:

  • English Premier League
  • The English Championship
  • La Liga
  • Serie A
  • The German Bundesliga
  • The Dutch Eredivisie
  • French ligue 1
  • Scottish Premier League

We’ve not only added more leagues, we have also made the reporting more detailed. Instead of just showing who scored and final results, we now also show who scored own goals, who scores or misses on penalty and red cards. Enjoy our soccer live score feeds! New ajax.net addon

March 11th, 2007

I’ve created another addon, this time for ajax.net. It is a simple contact form that you can implement to your website. With this form you don’t have to display your contact email on your website and in this way avoid email extractors from getting your email and start spamming you. The contact form is a normal contact form inside an updatepanel. When an email is sent with the form a progress image appears (if it doesn’t send the email directly that is) and then a message that the email have been sent. This is as mentioned done with an update panel so there’s no postback for the whole page. You can easily configure where you want the emails to be sent and what smtp server to use for sending the emails. Visit the contact form page (at kipnic.com) for installation and configuration instructions.

KipLinks - new asp.net addon

March 10th, 2007

I have created a very simple XML based link manager system. It is the very first version coming out so there’s not much to it. It’s a tool for your asp.net 2.0 webpage to easily add links to other sites. Depending on the structure of your website, you might have to recompile your project and upload all the new files just to add a link with a new link exchange partner. With Kipnic’s KipLinks you will be able to add links to an XML file and then just upload that file. Read more and get the installation instructions at kipnic.com.

Welcome to the Kipnic blog!

March 6th, 2007

Welcome to Kipnic.info. This blog will be running parallel with it’s sister site, kipnic.com. The blog will present solutions I find when developing ajax.net and asp.net tools to be presented on kipnic.com. I’m not sure where this blog will end up but the plan is to have different kind of categories, such as “how to”, “solutions” and “workarounds”. Please let me know whatever you think about anything written in this blog or on kipnic.com. Enjoy!
